Surprise
Look who popped in to bless us this week! Miss Hellickson!
She even brought a gift for our class, as Rend Collective has published a lighthouse book to go with their song “My Lighthouse.” How many times we have sung that song with our dear Miss Hellickson over the years. Thank you so much for bringing us a wonderful new book and reading to us with your amazing expression, Miss Hellickson. We love you!
Our Valentine’s Day
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (I Chronicles 16:34)

Topical Bible Study
As part of the Bible study skills thread of our Bible curriculum, we tackled a topical study on the Good Shepherd and His sheep Friday. The teamwork, the focus, the insights, the discoveries, and the love for God’s Word all were a great blessing.
Cozy Reader, Mrs. Eisler!
We had the privilege of listening to another amazingly fluent reader yesterday. She shared an Eric Carle book, Walter the Baker. She even brought pretzels for a snack to enjoy after hearing all the yummy pretzel details in the story. Thank you, Mrs. Eisler!
Another Cozy Reader
Thank you, Mrs. Post, for sharing your expressive and enthusiastic reading of Jan Brett’s Hedgie’s Surprise with our preK book buddies and us!
Shepherd on the Search Continues . . . .
The shepherd was hiding in our room this day . . . .
Teachers Morgan, Jayna, and Charlotte helped the buddies think about Jesus being the King of kings! (Revelation 19:16) “On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.”
The following day, the shepherd was holding a light. Joey, Joshua, and Daniel led the way in thinking about Jesus as the Light of the world. The preschoolers loved the luminary bags with color changing LED lights. (John 8:12) “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'”
