Our week was filled with deep and relevant Bible discussions. Our room was alive and on fire for God! One day we journeyed with Abram, thinking about his faith and about God being our real Home.
Unfortunately, my photos and videos did not come out well enough to create a new video about the journey, but I thought you would enjoy seeing the one from two years ago to help you imagine the experience your child had in this Bible class dramatization.
As part of the Bible study skills thread of our Bible curriculum, we tackled a topical study on the Good Shepherd and His sheep Friday. The teamwork, the focus, the insights, the discoveries, and the love for God’s Word all were a great blessing.
“He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:32-33)
We love the anticipation of the Advent season, and we have been eagerly studying the coming of the Messiah. Today we read more of Luke 1 about John the Baptist preparing the way of the Lord. The students were a bit surprised, but we all got quite a giggle out of making John the Baptist locusts. Yum.
