To apply math skills to real life, the third graders developed their own Fall Math Fun Fair for the PreK/K students, with the fourth graders serving as buddy leaders.  They each designed a game that would teach an appropriate skill, made sure the stations had variety, estimated and made lists of supplies, planned prizes, and took responsibility for the process start to finish.  Watching their 21st century skills of collaboration/critical thinking/communication/creativity shine was such a treat.  More coming soon . . . .
