Every year the Upper Valley Grange in Norwich generously donates dictionaries to all the third graders in the area. Our MVCS third graders are thrilled with their brand new dictionaries. Thank you, Doris Roberts and all the Upper Valley Grangers!

What a wonderful way to integrate the community into your classroom! I love this idea and am already thinking about ways we could try something similar in our school. Your students are lucky to have that connection to members of the Grange, and they are lucky to have your school as inspiration for volunteering. It’s important to help students learn at an early age what older generations have to offer. This is a marvelous tradition!
