Step Up Day was joyous and full of anticipation!  First, we opened Adventure Bags item by item to preview things to look forward to in 2012-2013.  For example, to highlight our study of colonial American history, we took out a Davison Newman and Company teabag, “whose fine tea was thrown into the water of Boston Harbour by Persons disguised as Indians in defiance of the Policies of His late Majesty King George III.”   To spark math curiosity, we took out a measuring tape.  And more!

Then we took a picture to celebrate our new learning family.  I know I can’t wait for the new year!  How about you?
