After school science club was a blast today as we began our shop project with Mr. Andy Phelps.

We sanded several types of wood, going with the grain and smoothing our edges.

After we measured carefully, Mr. Phelps guided our hands as we drilled our ducks.

Mrs. Brown, our faithful YES volunteer, acted as official Sanding Inspector.  

Hmmm. . . . very smooth!
