New Posts from Young Bloggers

Piggy made his very own movie all about his first trip of the summer.  Have you ever wondered what it is like in the middle of Lake Champlain?  Piggy thinks it is quite an adventure!

MY TRIP TO GRAND ISLE, VT

How exciting to have a new second grader so excited about blogging that he asked if he could start up his blog before school even starts!  Frog had the opportunity to take a tour of the Upper Valley Haven and to share a blessing bag with others, just as we learned from our Missions Day guests.  Check out his very first post.

Look! Look! Look!

One of our dear class members, QRS, went on a Great Adventure this summer, moving to North Carolina.  He has agreed to continue blogging with us, giving us the opportunity to tour by blog the curious wonders in his new area of the country.  His first two posts arrived this morning, much to my delight!  He is looking forward to lots of comments, as well as questions about the coastal area of North Carolina.  Enjoy!

QRS and his North Carolina Adventure!

Third Graders Practice Persuading

We think you should come to Grandparent’s Day.  For one thing, you would get a tasty free lunch at the gym.  You could try a beverage like soda or lemonade.  Chatting with your grandkids while you eat would be a memory you would never forget.  Our soup and sandwiches taste delicious.

Another good reason you should come is to play games with us in our room and at recess.  You could challenge your grandchild to a mad minute and try to beat them.  You could see the things we are doing in class.  Would you like to check out our blogs?  Come with us to recess and play a rowdy round of Gaga.  It would be great if you came to Grandparent’s Day.

My Fun Tree House

This is one of the first pieces of writing ready to publish this year. It won’t be long now before the students’ blogs will be unveiled and you’ll be able to read many, many wonderful pieces!

My Fun Tree House
By Samuel

If you were walking up the little hill behind my garage, you might not even see it! I am going to write about my tree house, which is almost like a spy tree fort. My tree house has a green door and has a green roof. Also, my tree house has a spy window. It has a ramp and a picnic table.

My tree house is small. It has a steep hill and lots of dead trees. Beside the tree fort, there is this little room made from wooden ladders nailed together, and it has a little fake tv for it. I used my imagination to make the fake tv out of a window that had the glass fallen out of it.

There is a field to walk in, and I walk there because I like to look for bears all over the woods. My tree house is fun to play in!
