Skyping to soldiers in Baghdad made Veterans’ Day absolutely amazing! DES really ROCKed as we shared our patriotic presentation with people who are protecting our country right now. We also loved participating in preparing care packages to mail over to our soldiers. Thank you, veterans!
WOW, that is amazing that you had the resources to skype soldiers from overseas to talk to your classroom. Again, that is such a wonderful teaching tool and a great way to bring the world to students. Hopefully this was a great way to make the students understand and appreciate more of what our soldiers are doing.
