Cozy Fireplace Readers
What it looked like three years ago is not quite the same as it looks now, but we all have gotten pretty adept at pandemic adjustments, haven’t we? The joy in our classroom is palpable. The thankful hearts of these dear children bless me every single day, as they celebrate all the things we CAN do because WE ARE TOGETHER!
So we thank Mrs. Crane for volunteering to be our first cozy fireplace reader of this winter. We are fine-tuning our expression and reading fluency by observing a whole collection of excellent oral readers. We enjoyed The Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis and Gwen Millward so much.

Alicia Shedd, one of our special class missionaries, came back to New Hampshire for a vacation after completing ten super-intense weeks of helping to run Life Action Family Camps all summer. She and a Life Action CREW friend gave one of their precious vacation days to serve the Lord by helping me to set up the classroom for the new year. Thank you, Alicia and Allison!
Rewind . . . to Mr. Houle’s Engineering Visit!
Our school has phenomenal volunteers, and they enrich the education of all of our students in many ways. From donating to our science closet to picking up equipment in their vans to sharing expertise in classrooms, volunteers added a great deal to our engineering endeavors this year. Thank you!
