There is nothing quite like a group of children so enthusiastic about learning that every day is a joyous celebration of wondering.   One of the things I aspire to as a teacher is to add a dollop of surprise to every day, so my students don’t ever quite know what the day of learning will bring.  I’m still smiling over this history lesson on the California Gold Rush.  Stay tuned to their blogs, as we are still revising the pieces they wrote about panning for gold . . . .
